Sikkens Cetol Deck is a highly water repellent, weather resistant, high build transparent timber stain for exterior timber decks and handrails. Used as two finishing coats over Sikkens Cetol HLSe providing UV resistance and durability.

Applications:
- Finishing coat:
- Exterior softwood and hardwood timber substrates such as timber decks and outdoor walk on surfaces and handrails.
Coverage:
Smooth planed timber: approx. 8 to 10m² per litre.
Number of Coats:
2 over 1 coat of Sikkens Cetol HLSe*
*Not recommended as a top coat over HLSe Ebony or Silver Grey as colour and appearance will change.
Preparation
New or unseasoned hardwood such as Merbau (Kwila), Spotted Gum, Tallowwood, Jarrah and Ironbark contain natural tannins. These tannins need to be extracted prior to coating.
This will happen naturally over a period of 3-6 months depending on exposure, or the process can be accelerated using Sikkens Cetol Tannin & Oil Removerfollowed by Sikkens Cetol Deck & Wood Cleaner.

If you want a colour adjusted, leave a note at checkout or send us a message through the "Contact & Hours" page to let us know what you're after.
If you give us the Dulux colour name we can tint your paint ahead of time. Alternatively you can come in and watch us tint on the spot. The result will be close to the requested shade, but we do not promise an exact match.
