Colours have more warmth when painted using matt or low sheen finishes than with higher gloss levels. Due to the low sheen level, surface imperfections are less visible than when higher gloss paints are used.

Marks will usually wipe clean with a soft cloth and soapy water, but matt paints are nothing like as stain resistant or durable as higher gloss paints.
