This Interior/Exterior Matte paint is formulated with some ability to be washed clean, unlike ceiling paint.

Matte paint is most suitable for surfaces, including ceilings, where low reflectivity is valued, and there will be minimal contact with dirty hands. Colours have more warmth when painted using matte or low sheen finishes than with higher gloss levels. Due to the low sheen level, surface imperfections are less visible than when higher gloss paints are used.

Marks will usually wipe clean with a soft cloth and soapy water, but matte paints are nothing like as stain resistant or durable as higher gloss paints.
