Interior/Exterior Matte paint is suitable for exterior surfaces such as timber (including decks), bricks, concrete, fibre-cement sheeting, Hardiplank, Zincalume steel, Colorbond, Colorsteel, galvanised iron, and suitably prepared steel and wrought iron. and plaster finishes. It is also suitable for interior walls and ceilings.

Due to the matte finish, surface imperfections are much less visible than with low sheen or higher gloss paints.

Dirt and marks will usually wash off with a hose and brush, or using a rag and soapy water, but matte paints are not as stain resistant or durable as higher gloss paints.
