Dulux makes this claim about the paint:

"Dulux Weathershield ColourGuard has been specially formulated using a Heavy Duty Reflective Pigment for superior colour fade resistance for dark colours, lasting up to twice as long as traditional tinted premium paint systems. As the sun’s rays hit the painted surface, a percentage of visible and infrared rays are reflected due to the Heavy Duty Reflective Pigments. This means the coating heats up less and is under less stress than dark coloured coatings containing conventional dark coloured pigment, causing your dark colours to stay brighter for longer."

It can be used on timber, brick, concrete, fibre-cement sheeting, plaster finishes, Hardiplank, Zincalume steel, Colorbond, Colorsteel, galvanised iron, and suitably prepared steel and wrought iron. It is fade-resistant, includes an anti-mould additive, ad contains elastic compounds that prevent cracking when surfaces expand and contract due to temperature changes.

Due to the low sheen level, surface imperfections are less visible than with higher gloss levels.

Dirt and marks will usually wash off with a hose and brush, or using a rag and soapy water, but low sheen paints are not as stain resistant or durable as higher gloss paints.
